Dragon Productions Theatre Company Presents Holiday Story Times and Children’s Book Drive

Location: Dragon Theatre, 535 Alma Street, Palo Alto, CA 94301

Dates: Saturday, December 19th and Tuesday, Dec 22nd, 2009

Time: 11 am- 12 pm

Ages: All welcome- ideal ages 3-8 yrs old

Tickets: $5. per person.

Short Byte: Let creativity and giving be part of the magic of the season! Join theatre professional Susie Danzig for Holiday Story Time at the Dragon Theatre in downtown Palo Alto. Fun Holiday crafts, interactive stories and theatre games for children ages 3-8. And don’t forget to bring a children’s book or two to donate to our book drive for the East Palo Library Programs and Services through made possible by Ravenswood school.

The Dragon Story Time series is different from the storytelling sessions that may occur at bookstores or libraries by inviting the audience to get in on the action. Children are encouraged to engage creatively each Story Time through active, fun explorations of art, literature and music in a theatrical setting.

Dragon Productions ongoing Story Time Series was made possible by a grant from the John and Marcia Goldman Foundation in an effort to reach younger audiences and build an educational outreach program.

Our Story Time Series continues in 2010- various Saturdays, 11 am -12 pm.

Jan 9- The Children’s Poetry and Stories of Shel Silverstein
Feb 13- Be Mine, Valentine
Mar 20- Celebrating Dr Seuss
Apr 17- Dinosaurs Rule!
May 8- Mother’s Day- stories celebrating mom
