Great photos. My daughter just can't wait for her trip down in December and a dive with the Whale Sharks off the coast as well as the sea lions and abundant other sea life. She's not seen a Blue Footed Booby since her dive trip to the Galapagos.

Thanks Deborah, we are heading down the end of October for our COA. Deborah, These are fantastic photos! Wow. I think our 2011 Loreto Calendar is already off to a great start. Love your adventure travels. I still remember your article earlier this year on Tabor Canyon which inspired many to go hiking in Loreto.

What an absolutely lovely and moving depiction of the natural beauty of this place, and the special connection you share with both the wildlife you so deftly photograph and the people, your dear Mexican friends. It is you who remind me of John Muir in the way you describe the impact all this has on the soul. Thank you so much for the pictures and words- I felt like I was there again!

With the proceeds from the bigger boat you could buy several boats, and eventually you would own a fleet of fishing boats. Instead of selling your catch to a middleman, you could sell directly to the processor and eventually open your own cannery. You would control the product, processing, and distribution. You would need to leave this small coastal fishing village and move to Mexico City, then L.A., and eventually New York City where you will run your expanding enterprise." The fisherman asked, "But senor, how long will this all take?" The American replied, "Fifteen to twenty years." "But what then, senor?"
