‘Casa del Lagarto Azul’ in Loreto Bay: Deconstructed

loreto-bay-agua-viva-25-march-2009.jpg

On our way to check into the Inn at Loreto Bay yesterday in our $34/day Alamo rental car which was got at the airport on a whim (we just couldn’t refuse what we thought was an incredible deal on a rental car), we bumped into Jesus on a golf cart.

We are in Loreto Baja again to spend a relaxing time and also check out the home construction of our little Nueva Chica home which is part of the Loreto Bay development.

Jesus was on his way to take some photos requested by a few homeowners. What would we all do without Jesus?

He needed no prompting, and greeted us by presenting two Loreto Bay construction helmets. What happened next was a whirlwind tour of our casa.

Here are the photos from our visit. This is Casa del Lagarto Azul (Agua Viva #25)….deconstructed.

    • Hi Joseph and Natalie,

I’ve added some comments to each photo to make it easier to figure out where they were taken. You are right, on the door. It is not ours, just on the way to our home we noticed these doors and I thought they were really nice.

      • Also, please note there are 94 photos in the gallery. Either use the lower navigation (from 1-5) to navigate through the pages of photos or select the top navigation “Click here to view as slide show with comments” link.

Loni – Great pictures!!!! I saw the house in person when I was in Loreto in Feb. It really is beautiful!!! The first picture of you and Jesus looking at your home from the street, you are standing in front of my casa (358) which is finally going up , quickly. So congrats from your neighbor!!!! …and as I drove by your Casa today Lisa, I noted that there appears to be a second floor going up. A long way from the foundation digging I photographed last October.

    Hi Loni,

    The house looks fantastic!

As for the utilities- I noticed that you had a caption on a picture that stated the water source was temporary. Are any of the permanent utility connections in place in AV?

    Regards,
    Tracy
