91 La Rochelle Pinot Noir, Santa Lucia Highlands 2006. La Rochelle makes great Pinots. This is my top pick, although you can’t wrong with any of the 4 current releases. Beautiful aroma, nice complexity. Long finish with several fruits including blackberry, cherry and elegant tannins. Cellar potential.
