Loreto Bay property owners newsletter for January 2009 introduces new homeowner service
The Loreto Bay property management (or as it is now referenced “owners”) newsletter arrived today in our email inbox.
It’s always interesting to checkout the every changing look & feel and more importantly the updates. This issue is a little longer relative to past issues, at about 6 pages and contains some decent information.
Below are the highlights and a link to the newsletter.
Highlights include:
- A new homeowner service to help assist with special projects, “It might be installing additional lighting, shelving or a very popular upgrade to the courtyard drainage systems that moves water efficiently to the exterior of the home.” Homeowners should email propertymanagement@loretobay.com for more information
- New home Warranty books have been emailed to all homeowners who have accepted a home. If you haven’t received yours, email rebeccar@loretobay.com and include your lot number
- On road and pool work: ”We reported last month that crews had been steadily working on the back entry road, the Paseo, the cluster 9 pool and the common areas in clusters 3 and 14. The common areas are almost 100% complete but work is still underway on the cluster 9 pool and the roads.”

I’ve posted photos in the Yahoo SF Owner’s site that indicate the condition of the Paseo and the entry road. There has been little work on the entry road or the Paseo for the past 3 weeks, with the exception of a layer of hot oil to be put on a section of the Paseo from just south of the Golf Club entrance to my casa at #358.
The “big news” is that the “cattle guard” entrance on the new entrance is now installed and usable. There is some debate as to which is smoother. Driving over the dirt bumps or the cattle guard. At least at some point the cattle guard will have pavement on both sides of it.
The construction crews for AV have returned “in mass” and work is really cranking up. So far though the road work has not started again or at least it has not been visible to me.
Good update from property management but I am surprised they didn’t just reference the electronic version of the Homeowner Warranty Booklet that is available:
http://www.starksilvercreek.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2009/01/lbwarranty.pdf
Instead, they just promoted the hard copy version which homeowners would have to email LB staff, the expense of sending it out and the administrative costs.
