Why not share a favorite movie moment? Maybe you’ll agree, or have your own memorable ones.

Hitchcock is one of my all-time favorites. Everything about his movies seems just right: the pacing, the characters, the plot and the directing. These are movies I can enjoy over and over again. 

Whenever the local classic cineplex re-runs a classic Hitchcock, I try to be there. Nothing like an authentic experience!

The ‘The Man Who Knew Too Much’ has several classic moments.

Who can forget the family sitting together at the back of the bus on the way to Morocco? Or Jimmy Stewart fumbling his way through a meal at the Moroccan restaurant. Then there is the resounding clang of the symbols and a gun shot during the climax.

But my favorite is the innocent singing scene between Doris Day and her little boy near the beginning of the film. It’s a magical moment that not only entertains, but provides contrasting lightness to the events that would soon follow. The 1956 song, ‘Que Sera, Sera‘ provides perfect banter between mother and son. Lyrics “The future is not ours to see” foreshadow.

It’s a highly watchable, fun, innocent, classic moment, and that’s why it’s one of my favorites!
